勸君莫惜金縷衣，
勸君惜取少年時。
花開堪折至須折，
莫待無花空折枝。
Abandon thy pursuit
Of that Gold Laced Suit,
‘Stead cherish that fleeting youth
Of dreams and romance.
Pick, smell the roses
At its fullest blossom,
Lest it past and wither
Left holding a dried fig.
